Yesterday the Talk II was held with agents of the sector organized by the MICOALGA-FEED Operational Group, which was attended by Esteban Sinde (Hifas da Terra) and Ángel Sanabria (FEUGA). A day whose central theme was the numerous benefits of fungi in a wide range of sectors and activities, and how mycology can contribute to the “One Health” strategy of the World Health Organization. In addition, the MICOALGA-FEED innovation project was presented, an innovation project that seeks in fungi and microalgae the best allies to reduce the use of antibiotics in poultry farming through their immunomodulatory and antimicrobial capacity.
